Privacy notice
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This notice covers the Pocket UK Savings website and app, operated under the Flawless Commerce brand. For privacy questions, email partners@pocketsavings.co.uk or see the contact page.
Favourites and saved offers
Your favourites and saved offers are kept in local storage on your browser or device. Pocket does not send this list to its server or require an account. You can remove individual items in Pocket, or clear the website’s stored data in your browser settings. Removing the app may also remove its local data.
Technical information and hosting
Our website and offer service are hosted by Netlify. Requests may include your IP address, browser information, requested page and request time. This information helps deliver and secure the service and diagnose faults. Our basis for operating and securing Pocket is our legitimate interest in providing a reliable service. Netlify’s processing and retention are described in its privacy policy. Its services may process information outside the UK.
Offers and partner links
Pocket’s server retrieves offer information from Awin. Your saved preferences are not sent with that request. When you follow a partner link (an affiliate link tracked by Awin), Awin and the retailer receive information needed to process that visit and may use cookies or other tracking under their own notices and choices. Review Awin’s privacy policy and the retailer’s policy before purchasing.
Analytics and advertising
We use Netlify Web Analytics to understand page requests, referring websites and visitor counts derived from IP addresses in our hosting request data. Netlify processes this information server-side; this does not add analytics cookies or an analytics tracking script to your browser. Reports can include automated traffic and our own testing. They do not measure voucher copying, retailer purchases or commission. Pocket does not add advertising trackers to this website or app. Third-party websites you visit have their own settings.
Pocket films on YouTube
Pocket’s story pages show our films with a YouTube player. Nothing is loaded from YouTube while you read or scroll: the player loads only when you press Play. It then loads from youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode, and Google (YouTube) receives information such as your IP address and browser details and may store information on your device under Google’s privacy policy. The film starts muted. The Watch on YouTube link opens YouTube itself.
Campaign labels
If you arrive from a Pocket post or advert, the link may carry a campaign label naming the platform (for example Instagram) and the film. Pocket keeps only these fixed labels, in your browser’s session storage for that tab, and removes them from the address bar. When you continue to a partner retailer, the same fixed labels can be added to the Awin or Impact partner link so the network’s commission reports show which film a sale came from. They never include your name, email, search, an ID for you or the page address. These fixed labels support partner-network attribution; they do not identify you or record voucher-copy events. They are cleared when you close the tab.
Restaurant location
Pocket’s restaurant search only uses your location if you choose Use my location, and your browser asks for permission first. Your position is used in your browser to work out distance to listed restaurant branches. It is kept in memory on that page only, is not saved, and is not sent to Pocket’s server, to restaurants or to advertisers. Choosing Clear location, or leaving the page, discards it. A town or postcode you type is matched in your browser in the same way.
Copying a voucher code
When you tap Copy code, or Copy code & continue, Pocket writes that voucher code to your device’s clipboard. It does not read or collect the other contents of your clipboard.
If you email us
We receive your email address and the information you send so that we can answer your enquiry. We use this on the basis of our legitimate interest in providing support and handling business enquiries. Correspondence is kept while handling your enquiry and for as long as a relevant record is needed to resolve follow-up issues or meet legal obligations. Email providers process messages as part of delivering the service.
Your rights and questions
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict its use, object to processing or receive a portable copy. Contact us using the email above. Local preferences held only on your device can be removed by you. You can also contact the UK Information Commissioner’s Office with a data-protection concern.
Changes to this notice
We will update this page when Pocket’s information handling changes. The date above identifies the latest version.
